The hotel is new and clean. The rooms are stylish and cozy. The best part is they open up the 16 floor with some snacks and drinks for people who came earlier before the check in time. This is a great idea as most hotels just have the guests to wait at the lobby. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. The hotel is also very close to the subway and night market.

Located in Taichung, within less than 1 km of Fengjia Night Market and 5.5 km of Kuangsan SOGO Dept. Store, Hotel Euphemia offers a bar. Extremely clean, heated toilet bowl, friendly staff, generous supplies of drinking water and biscuits, close to convenient store and Fengjia market.

Situated in Jiaoxi, 1.4 km from Jiaoxi Railway Station, Orient Luxury Hotel-Jiaoxi features accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness centre. One of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in, and I have stayed in a lot. Sparkling clean, high-tech, beautiful, brand new facilities, helpful and attentive staff, luxurious amenities. Breakfast options were very plentiful and delicious. Good location too, only a few minutes by foot from Jiaoxi Transfer Station. The balcony onsen (mountain view option) was absolutely wonderful. So clean, peaceful and relaxing with a gorgeous view. I did not even want to put on music, as at night you hear a chorus of crickets and other sounds of wildlife from the surrounding mountains.

Located in Dayuan, 10 km from Zhongli Railway Station, alfar Hotel provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. This 3-star hotel offers a 24-hour front desk and a tour desk. The check in was fast and the front desk very friendly. She took time to explain the surroundings of the hotel. The room is small but you get a perfect lay out and all the amenities are in place. Good quality bed linen and towels.

In a prime location in the West District district of Taichung, Spring Rhapsody Hotel is situated 2.4 km from Kuangsan SOGO Dept. Everything! Staff were great from the minute we arrived, very friendly and welcoming and helpful (Meg in particular was very welcoming, kind and great fun to chat to as we checked in!). The breakfast was lovely with a great variety. Room was very nice and even had an unexpected view and mini balcony as well as free snacks and drinks in the room which we were not expecting. We LOVED this place, if we’re ever lucky enough to visit Taichung again we’ll be staying here!

Set in Taipei and with The Red House reachable within 500 metres, Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel Taipei Ximen offers concierge services, non-smoking rooms, a fitness centre, free WiFi throughout the... Perfect location, about 10 mins walk to Ximen MRT Station and maybe 15 mins to Taipei Main Station (Where you can get the Taoyuan Airport MRT). The hotel main entrance in at the right side of the building, this is only a lobby, you take the lift up to the 6th floor for Reception. I booked for a high floor and got the 28th floor with a great view at the river side. The room was very good, modern, separate toilet and reasonable sized. They supplied pajamas and slippers in the room and all the essential toiletries can be got on the 6th floor in reception in a well layout display cabinet. There is a laundry room also on the 6th floor where you can do your own washing and drying (X3 washing machines and X3 dryers) they take coins only. The breakfast was fabulous with both continental and Taiwan cuisine. They supply free bottles of water and Tea/Coffee at the end of reception up till 10pm. There was also a kittle in the room with a safe. Ximen is a great area for eating, drinks and shopping, very lively at night time.

Wyndham Sun Moon Lake is located in Yuchi, in the Sun Moon Lake district. This 5-star hotel offers a kids' club, room service and free WiFi. The hot tub and the public bath. Both are first class and very comfortable. The breakfast is quite elaborate. I did not get to try them ALL because they were too many choices.
