This is a nice guesthouse, and as usually in Albania, with an amazing host. She is a lovely lady who manages everything with much care. Gosh! What a great sense of hospitality. Very affordable, and the view from the terrace having breakfast is unbeatable (by the way, amazing breakfast). What else? Great location (close to the National Ethnographic Museum of Berat, simple, very well done, highly recommended), and immaculately clean.

We were passing through Albania on our way home to germany and what a pleasure to visit such a nice and welcoming family. Samuela the host was exceptional in giving us a warm welcome and we and our kids enjoyed talking with her and she even showed our kids their yard and house animals. Samuela sure has the future ahead of her in the hotel buissness :) the breakfast was very good also. We felt relaxed and very welcome at Samuela’s cozy retreat.

What a sweet couple of days staying at Vila Xhaferaj! A little outside Berat (short drive), I had the whole, very spacious apartment/floor to myself. The terrace was huge with a great view over the countryside. It felt like home. The hosts were warm, welcoming, caring and generous. They brought me dinner my first night, which they said was 'bio' - was so grateful as I was too tired from the drive to go out. Then surprise breakfast and delicious fruit. The bed was comfy. I used the washing machine. Secure parking right at the doorstep. It was a great choice for easy access to Berat while having peace, quiet and nature all around. Falaminderit!!

Cute, Clean, Quiet. Close to everything and short flat walk from bus stop. Communal kitchen & small balcony. Excellent price, lovely decour, yummy breakfast (changed daily) & lovely welcoming, friendly hosts. Very Pleased I chose to stay here! Everything was so nice! The location is near the castle, the breakfast was big, the room was spotlessly clean, the internet was fast, and the hosts were super nice and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay there, and it was quiet all the time. But be aware, it's on top of the hill, so you will have to climb a steep path to get there. We totally recommend this accommodation! P.S.: The coffee from the pictures was ours, brought from home :))
