We wanted to spend one night due to its proximity to the Sanahin ans Haghpat monastries, but we stayed two nights, after discovering what a beautiful place this is. The hosts are a lovely family, extremely helpful, sympathetic, kind and discreet. The views are amazing, its quiteness is a balsam for the spirit and the sorroundings allow for a lot of activities. We asked for breakfast and dinner and they were simply delicious. They are served in the porch with amazing views. Note: I sm writing this commentary in English, since my mother tongue (Catalan) is not admitted, of which I protest.

Great host! Edmund went out of his way to ensure we had a super stay. He gave me a personal tour of his beloved garden. We were free to gather fresh fruit from his bountiful fruit trees. The room was spacious, clean and a bit quirky, in a good way. My bed was very comfortable. It has plenty of parking. Guest House in Alaverdi would be my first choice for a place to stay if I ever happened to pass through Alaverdi again.

Iris is absolutely lovely!! When I arrived she made me some herbal tea. If you contact her on WhatsApp she’ll help you arrive to the property by public transport and even come pick you up if needed! She also arranged my bus to Yerevan the next day and they picked me up right at her house. The cost was only 2000 dram. There’s also a great little hiking trail right from her house that goes to Sedvi Monastary. Breakfast was huge and delicious. Loved staying here!

Amazing place to stay. The guesthouse is next to the family home of the hosts. The family is very welcoming, friendly and open to give advice on what to do in the area. English is not a problem. They brought fresh and tasty breakfast to us every morning and there is an optional cooked dinner. Comfy beds, kitchen and seating area. The Migoyan museum and Sanahin monastery are next door and the start to some wonderful hikes are nearby. There is a small shop next door. You can also watch the piglets in the neighbour's barn while drinking your morning coffee.

We stayed at Sanahin Old&New during our trip to Armenia and were very pleased. The location is excellent — just a short walk from the Sanahin Monastery. The room was clean, cozy, and had a beautiful view. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, helped us with transportation, gave useful tips about the area, and were always available. What we especially loved is the unique blend of the old Sanahin spirit with modern comfort. A place with true character! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and atmospheric stay in a picturesque setting.

Everything was perfect, Marina welcomed me from the first moment as if I were one of her family... I can confirm that the score on booking is more than deserved. I also asked for dinner and breakfast not included in the price of the room but trust me it's worth it. The price of the meals was overall cheap.     I loved it here!!! Possibly one of the best stays ever. I didn't expect it at all, considering the location in this remote little village. The owners are so kind, the room was way beyond comfortable! I had all my meals here and their food was delicious. I was going to stay just one night but liked it so much I prolonged. I can't recommend it enough, a true home away from home!!!
