It is very close to the lake (5 minutes walk), and two minutes to the main street of the village. We liked the place very much and the Altaussee area is one of the most beautiful spots in Austria. Large room with separate kitchen and dining with views over fields and the town to snow covered towering peaks. 5 min stroll to the Lakeside and shops and restaurants. We walked several nature trails nearby and caught the small local bus to check out neighbouring villages. Sabine the supervisor of the villa met us with kindness and explained to us the villa in detail and the places near the villa. The stay has a pool table ,dart board, foosball table to keep us relaxed after a long journey. The next day we had a nice breakfast which is included as part of the booking and the host was kind enough to drop us of to the Hallstatt village which was nearly 23kms from the room.Guest review bySujithGroup
