We are regulars in Lachtal (13-14 times already), and have tried several versions of accommodations. The newly re-built Arton definitely is among our top 2 experiences. We have opted for the upper floor deluxe apartment with 3 bedrooms. The apartment is new, modern, well equipped (excellent kitchen), two bathrooms, fireplace, large windows, balcony from the bedroom and bathroom, window sitting place in the living room, it has definitely exceeded our expectations. Naturally you have to climb the stairs to reach it :)... Be prepared! The location was known to us, as we have stayed in the earlier version of the Arton pension as well: 2 minute walk (with ski boots on) from the ski lift. Access was easy and the covered parking is also very handy, when it snows 10 cm snow during the night :)... Communication with the host was easy, and clear, check-in and check-out simple. One detail which we appreciated very much: each room/apartment has an assigned ski rack in the "basement" in a lockable cupboard, where hot air is blown into your ski boots once you hang them, to keep them warm and dry! Nice touch!

We stayed there 2 nights on a ski excursion to Lachtal and Kresichberg. It was a perfect choice. Fantastic hospitality by the owners, friendly and helpful atmosphere, lovely alpine location. Lovely place! Our apartment was very spacious and had everything we needed. A microwave would have been a bonus, but there was a stove and all the utensils. Beautiful coutryside and nice owners! Would definitely recommend it or stay there again!
