Very nice room in a traditional historic house. Rooms are bigger and more beautiful than it looks in the photos. It’s quiet and it’s a very nice option to spend a peaceful night.

We had a wonderful time at Schnatterhof. The apartment was perfect for us, with a sleeping area upstairs for the kids and separate bedroom upstairs for the adults. The kitchen had everything we needed and the large, well lit common room was great for playing games/chatting. We travelled with two other families over the New Year and found the common room (with additional cooking facilities) to be ideal for our group as it meant we could all eat together and spend time indoors together. There is an artificial 'Eisstockbahn' that can also be used in warmer temperatures - we had great fun learning this game. Other highlights were the fire drum/tripod that can be arranged and of course the animals: the three farm cats, the dog, llamas, goats, ducks & geese. Our host, Mrs Doblhamer was very welcoming and friendly and is also a fantastic cook! - if you get the chance, you should definitely try her traditional roast pork (Schweinsbraten) and the home-reared roast meadow goose (Gänsebraten vom Weidegans) The breakfast is also really good. The location was exactly what we were looking for - rural and quiet with plenty of opportunities for countryside walks, but only a 20- 25 min drive to the nearby towns of Ried and Schärding. We will definitely be staying at Schnatterhof again in the future! :-)

The house is clean and well equipped. The location is a bit far from highway, but it’s a great place if you are looking for Rural scenery. Suitable for people with pets. The staffs are very friendly and helpful.

Excellent, breakfast wide range off choice and you could put special requests in. you got served by the family itself. they offered a wide choice of drinks, meat, bread, jams and other things. A lot of it was also home made and harvested from there own livestock or from the land.

Absolutely amazing in all aspects! We just needed a sleepover while driving long distance, and the price was our decisive factor. We found a beautifully decorated room, perfect bed, lovely details all over the room. The breakfast was a fantastic combination of Austrian and Italian tradition and looked and tasted just wow. Being a frequent traveller, this place just exceeded all my expectations and I will definitely be back!

The location is away from the main road. There is a large grass area for the kids to run around and play. The apartments on the ground floor provide plenty of room and are well designed! The fridge is well stocked with drinks (handy considering the nearest shop is a 20min walk). Breakfast was included! Plenty of parking. There is a social room with children's toys and games. Family Oriented.

We had to plan a one night stay in our trip and choose this place. we didn’t had any expectations, but we landed in a 4* hotel! This place is a hidden gem! the cleanliness standards are outstanding!!! the whole building, interior is so charming. Wolfgang is very kind and helpful. even the village is like in Disney tale. highly, highly recommend this place, don’t think just book.
