Our host Victoria and her husband could not have done more to make our stay more comfortable. Lots of space, exceptionally well appointed. Beautiful views from the terrace overlooking the lake and mountains . Very quiet. Only a 10 minute walk down a pretty lane into St. Gilgen, one of the prettiest villages I have visited. Hotel is like historical village home, you can feel in dream yourself. And owner is really helpful. She is best host. You should choose Haus Mayerhofer, if you will visit this areas. We had no lake view but the lake was a minute walk and the center of town was also very close. There is also easy parking. I wanted to show my wife Salzburg but the accomodation there was double the price. We decided to stay here and take bus to Salzburg. Very peaceful and very comfortable. Everything you needed for five day stay. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly. Even leaving treats for our dog. :) We enjoyed the location as well.
