What we like abt this place is something that many inns/hotels don’t have. Genuine care for the guests’ well being, attention to details, not to mention the excellent service that the team has provided for us. Esp. Xiao Chen and the inn keeper her self. Room rate and prices of the goods sold here are fair and decent for the quality. Many corners of this beautiful inn are work of art. The owner is like a painter who needs a bigger canvas. I wish she has a bigger landscape /space for more people to enjoy lots of great stuffs here: tea brewing, yummy vegetarian dishes. Place is tranquil. If we want to enjoy Su He, this place is a great place to stay. Or if you simply want to have relaxing retreat, wu ai dang is a great place to stay. Another plus point: the inn keeper recommended transportation service (Wan Wan) to us. She is really really a great driver and guide. Very polite and provide the same genuine care for us. She arranged one day trip around Lijiang which includes a couple of places that many do not know (feeding the flying seagulls, visiting beautiful shrine) and we had yummy local foods together.

This is a small inn right in the historical center of Lijiang, just off one of the main streets. The staff is extremely friendly, where you are welcomed with tea and fresh fruit. They helped me out with everything, really impressive. The room is very comfortable with all amenities you can expect. I’ll come back when I have the opportunity!

This stay was absolutely lovely. It has a beautiful courtyard with a fishpond and running water that gently rocks you to sleep at night. The room was very clean and tidy, comfortable and had all the required amenities . The best part was the owners. It is a family business and the care and attention given by them shows how much they care for it and their customers. We were welcomed with tea upon arrival, tasted many different types, chatted about tea and Chinese culture. They prepared breakfast to-go for us when we went early morning on a hike (without us asking) and helped us book bus tickets, drivers to and from airport etc. They also helped us order things online and helped with any request or question. It was a great and welcoming experience and I suggest anyone to try it, they are just lovely. Be sure to not pass on the tea when offered by the passionate owner, it’s quite an experience.

Merry is a very responsive host that tries to fulfil our travel requirements. She helped to arrange value for money airport transfers and local tours (we went fo a day tour Shangri-la and visit most tourist spots along the way). It is such an experience staying in a traditional village guesthouse which is next to Zhongyi market with more than 100 shops and stalls. Near to bus stop to places of interest. We took Bus #101 straight to Yulong Snow Mountain resort for RMB15 one-way and pay our own entrance fee, etc. Very very convenient..

The hostel owners are really welcoming and friendly. They took me to pick cherries and to great restaurants to have breakfast. They also have a cute dog in the yard. The breakfast and dinner are also available, it’s a good chance to make friends. It’s a really international hostel(I was the only native Chinese visitor there). The hostel is located in a transitional village with a great location close to the Old Town.
