The entrance to the great wall is just a short walk. This section of the great wall is so quiet that we have the whole place to ourselves. It is also not very restored so you get to see some of the original wall. They also cooked fresh food from their garden for us. I have been to Beijing twice and did all the major tourist spots. I have to say staying here and hiking the wall in peace is my best Beijing experience.Guest review byYienFamily with young children

We had the Western breakfast, the eggs and homemade bread was delicious. Ellie had a cheesecake waiting for us when we arrived, and it was so good. Super cute, quiet, clean and very calm. The village is quite nice to have a little walk, and it is very close to the great wall. We had a fun hike with two kids ages 5 & 8, and we all loved it.
