We loved that the beach was right in front of the property. Alejandro, the host, was super kind. Communication was quick and he helped us with everything that we needed. He made our stay (2 adults, one 5 year old and a baby) very comfortable. Parking is right on the property. If you are interested in fishing, the beach is amazing to catch some nice fish: there are roosters, jacks, trigger fish, blue runners, mangrove snapper and more... Locals there know how it's done and fish there daily. They are kind and can help you out. If there are plenty of sardines in the water, safe your time with artificial lures. Get some sardines and fish on the bottom. You won't wait long for a bite ;)

Hakuna Mata Lodge was an unexpected "luxury" appartment with the most friendly host you can imagine. Great interior, great shower, wonderful outdoor kitchen. And the superb beaches and a small supermarket are just some short walk away. And don´t be afraid of the dog, he is as gentle as he is big. Went to Villas Mango for a couple of nights. Once you are there, you dont feel like you are at hotel, you feel like you are AT HOME. Breakfast is good, you all definetely needs to give it a try to their scrambled eggs with cheese. Good location, very close from Nosara downtown if you want to have a more local experience, close to Playa Guiones and Playa Pelada. Tuk Tuks can easily get to the Villa. Michelle and all the staff there was amazing, very nice and friendly people. Villas Mango is my place to go whenever I am back at Nosara.

The place looked very nice. The owner put a lot of time into this bus, and it worked out super well! The fact that you sleep in a bus is super funny. The terrace he built in front of the bus is super handy for breakfast or dinner, which you can prepare in the kitchen. There's a roof above the bus, so the bus is standing in the shade and this really helps with the warmth, you can choose to open the windows or use the airco if it gets to hot. Playa negra is the closest beach, you could also go to Playa avellanas, which is only a 10min drive.
