Really amazing experience, one of the best places in Cabo Verde. The ladies in the Women association that manages the BnB are really friendly, they received me with open heart. They even made cake for my birthday and celebrated together. Really authentic experience, they will stay in my heart. Eneida even took us at a local event in the village. The views are stunning from the window and terrace, the rooms are big, the food delicious. You can walk 10min, 30min or 1-2h or more and still have great views. Easy to take colectivo (aluguer) to go to the most important hikes from the island. The breakfast is very delicious and big so some days I didn't need lunch. They can arrange colectivo (aluguer) to pick you up from the ferry for only 5 euros.

This is a great place in the heart of the Paul Valley. The view from the roof terrace is breathtaking, as is the food which is served there every evening. The owners and the staff are very friendly and willing to help with everything. We had a great stay here!

There's no better place to stay in Santo Antão. Very beautiful house close to all the restaurants in Paul and many amazing hikes nearby. The owner lives in the same house with his family and you get to sit with them for breakfast which is cooked freshly every day (pancakes with papaya jam, fresh banana and papaya juice, local goat cheese, omelette,..). I cannot recommend staying here enough - we wanted to stay for one night only but ended up staying three. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. If we ever come back to the island, Luz d'Sol is where we will go!

The family was so nice and helpful that I felt very good and welcome there. Any question I had, Kati helped me with a smile. Also she organised a taxi driver to bring me to the Cova de Paul and she lent me a map of Santo Antao during my stay which was very helpful to me. I had a very big room (normally for 2 adults and 2 kids) with bathroom and balcony. Near the balcony were banana trees and other trees and I heard the birds in the evening. The night is very quiet. There is another terrace for all the guests where you can sit. Breakfast was very good. The location is perfect. When you came down from Cova de Paul you arrive just nearby the Pousada. There is a supermarket just at the corner. It was the best place I stayed during my holidays on Cabo Verde.

Great location to explore the best of Santo Antao island and very close to everything you need in the town itself. Staff was great and attentive to all our needs (transportation, laundry, renting poles, finding guides, leaving luggage...). Room was clean and our stay was quiet.

    It is a very good place, if you look for an authentic village. It is managed by the local women association, and it is managed well. All is clean and well-kept. Good local food. The village is very quiet. The view is spectacular and the sunsets are idyllic. The village nightlife concentrates around a shop run by Antonio and it is a good place to meet the villagers.     Super nice women, very good food, also vegetarian! They were very helpful and gave us a lot of tips, organized a ride and got someone pick us up from the port. A bit up a hill with a rough road but the views are great. The money they make goes to families of the village and they have some facilities for the kids of the village to work on computers. Recommended!
