San Borondon is closer to the beach side albeit still on a substantial elevation (and a good 20mins through steep downhill to get to the beach). Very friendly and helpful people. Normally there's a lockbox for the keys but in this case they handed them over and showed me the apartment. The apartment was spotlessly clean with comfy beds and a great view over the valley from the little terrace. It's just on the edge of the village. The studio was well laid out and highly liveable with a really good kitchen. The silence was sublime, an ideal place to slow the mind. Approach via Alojera as the unmade road from Tazo can be a bit unnerving. It's even walkable from the village bus.
