The owner was so sweet, people from the area, but her in particular was phenomenal. Her indications, her voice, she was ver soothing and helped us with recommendations (the best!) and feel confortable in the hostel.

A quaint house with bedrooms rented to individual clients. Decor was charming. Owns Bakery across the road which was delicious!! We met our housemates and shared wine we bought at the dining table. No staff is in the house so it was private.

Located on El Camino de Santiago pilgrimage route, Paraiso del Bierzo is a renovated 19th-century butter factory, 40 km from Ponferrada.

Beautiful spot on the Camino, a little before the village. The setting is just superb. Dinner was nice and breakfast was decent but definitely the room and the view was the highlight. If the place is closed when you arrive, las Herrerrias has some great lunch options and only a short walk away.

The host is very friendly, and replied immediately to my questions prior to my arrival. The room was impeccably clean, very comfortable and large with a balcony and a clothes horse provided - very useful when on the Camino. Breakfast was nice and individual requests are catered for. I highly recommend this place.

Location on the corner of streets directly on the Camino. Comfortable beds, mini-kitchen with coffee & cold bottled water provided, great shower, and spacious for four people. Restaurants, cafes, and supermarket nearby plus laundry facilities downstairs. Would be a perfect spot for those seeking a rest day on the Camino.
