The staff were very pleasant. The Albergue was extremely good value for money. I had a single room and both bathrooms were very close. I never had a problem waiting for a free bathroom. The breakfasts were really good... Spanish style but that's what I wanted. The evening meal was great value for money. Boca de Huérgano is a super location for exploring the Picos. Riaño is only about 8 or 10km away and there are beautiful hikes around there. There's also a public swimming pool in Riaño.

Refugio del Cares is set in Ortiguero and has a private pool and quiet street views. There is an in-house restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available.
