The best guesthouse we visited on Faroe. Fully equiped kitchen. There was also separate dining room. The housekeeper flexible and helpfull. The rooms and bathrooms are really beautifull and balanced with style. Great place for starting or finishing the Faroe exploration.

The boat-house is in a fantastic location, quite central to all the islands. This means that many of the places you'll want to visit are all 30-45 minutes away. The village is quiet, and although on a "main road", there was no traffic noise. The boat-house has a very well equipped kitchen with everything you need, and a spacious main room with comfy sofa and large table to eat/work at. The weather was quite bad a couple of days I was there (strong winds and heavy rain) so it was great having somewhere I could just sit and look out of the large windows at the weather! The drying cabinet downstairs was appreciated on these days. My flight was also very delayed due to the bad weather and I didn't arrive until midnight- the host had left the house open and came round the next morning to check I was all okay and take payment. This was greatly appreciated. The book on the coffee table showing how they built the boat-house was interesting too :) Hopefully I will return to the Faroes for another visit some time, and I'll definitely be looking to book this property again if it's available.

Very comfortable apartment easy walking distance to town. Great parking right outside the apartment. Owner was very accommodating and answered any question we had promptly. All in all an excellent stay!

We had a wonderful experience staying in these apartments. They are conveniently located for traveling around the western and northern parts of the Faroe Islands. The apartment has everything needed for a comfortable stay, a cozy terrace with a view of the fjord, a spacious living room with a fireplace and a panoramic window.     Lovely place in a small village near the airport. The house is well equipped and the owners even let us check in a bit earlier. Lots of essentials, such as salt, pepper, oil, coffee and many others were provided. Free parking right in front of the house. We stayed there for 1 night on a rainy day in July 2024 and really enjoyed it.

    We had an absolutely fantastic time at this cozy holiday house! The amenities were superb, and the highlight was definitely the wonderful jacuzzi—a perfect way to relax after a hiking trip. Perfect to explore the Vagar island. The host was incredibly attentive and friendly, always ensuring we had everything we needed. The charming decor and warm ambiance made it a truly memorable stay.

    We enjoyed nice view of harbour and Mydvagur village of our appartment every morning. We also appreciated the equipment, including all the necessary stuff for basic cooking, as well as other things, such as cleaning utensils, or soap and hair dryer in the bathroom.
