Very clean, updated apartment. Had everything we needed. Very close to major tourist sites. Close to train station. Host and hostess were lovely people. They allowed us to stay an extra hour and a half because our train didn't depart until 12:20.

The accommodation is more than a lovely bedroom and a huge bathroom. There is a separate living/dining area where a delicious breakfast was served each morning. Immaculately clean, quiet and cozy. The location allows you to explore the many beautiful medieval villages close by and Albi itself has a lovely medieval center to explore. The hostess, Marie, is lovely and provided us with many useful suggestions for our touring. She goes beyond expectations to help, as shown by her efforts to help us get our cell phone to work. Marie and her husband made us feel very welcome and made our stay one of the best during our vacation. We stayed 4 days but wished we could have stayed longer. A really EXCEPTIONAL Bed And Breakfast !

The location was beautiful - high up on a hill overlooking the town of Albi - lots of room to walk around with beautiful town and country views. The facilities were excellent - large private jacuzzi in an adjacent room, very comfortable bed, comfortable well-planned bathroom including a shower. The most outstanding feature was the wonderfully warm hospitality of the proprietors Josephine and her husband and the superb breakfasts - excellent coffee, croissants, cheese, fresh bread, charcuterie, freshly-squeezed apple juice, eggs, yoghourt (I could go on) delivered to the room. The charcuterie offering for supper was excellent value - all local cheeses and meats and fruit. A wonderful experience and excellent value for money!

Everything was great, the room was very clean and had all the amenities one might need. The location is very good also, close to the city center. We were able to easily find a free parking slot in the proximity of the hotel. The host was also very helpful and responsive.

Christine and Antoine were exceptional hosts, and made us felt comfortable immediately. Their home is spotless and beautifully presented, having thought of all that one might need during their stay. We have already recommended their place & Albi to friends and family, should anyone be passing through this area. We shall definitely be staying with them should we get the chance to return to Albi.

    Lovely big room in a quiet area, with fantastic views of the city, river, and cathedral. With a great terrace and only a short walk to the centre of Albi, Villa Carolina was perfect for our stay. Mario was a wonderful host, friendly, helpful, and welcoming, and his breakfast was delicious.

    The villa is in a small street just 5 mins walk over the bridge out of the town center, so is in a quiet area. Our room was a family room so was large in size although we were only 2 people, and it was comfortable. Mario, the owner, is very friendly and had lots of tips of where to eat! With good weather you have breakfast, a very tasty one!!!, on the roof terrace looking at the impressive cathedral of Sint Cecile, fantastic!!

    Villa Caroline and our host were superb in every way. The accommodation is in an ideal position, the rooms are delightful, clean and very comfortable with everything you need to enjoy your stay. Breakfast is wonderful with lots of home made conserves and family produced honey. The owners go above and beyond to be helpful and nothing is too much trouble. We loved our stay and highly recommend Villa Caroline.

    Villa Caroline was a very nice place to stay in Albi! The small family hotel offered good, personal service and a clean and comfortable room. The breakfast was nice and made of local produce. The owner was always prepared to assist with advice and answer our questions. The outstanding view was a great plus!

    Mario was a charming and helpful host at Villa Caroline. Our room and private patio were beautifully decorated, comfortable and spacious. The included breakfast was made-to-order each morning, using homemade honey, yogurt, jams on the sunny patio with wonderful views of the cathedral and old city.

    I cannot recommend Villa Caroline highly enough. Our rooms were beautiful,so full of character and the kindness and generosity of mario surpassed all expectation. The breakfast was wonderful ....This is the best place I have stayed in for years and I would travel to go back there again.....well done ...simply a superb place to stay!! Thankyou
