The facility has a lovely garden and terrace for breakfast. We got a whole floor with own exit. The place is very quiet and has everything for small group or family with 1-2 kids to stay. The owner is very helpful, speaks French and German.

This is a very magical place that feels like you walked through a time portal and landed in some forgotten time. An absolutely lovely, well-taken care of house set in the midst of a strickingly beautiful garden. We were delighted to try various home-made jams for breakfast. Our hostess was here to help with everything we needed, and we admire greatly the amount of love, care and knowledge she invests in making the garden as lush and lavish as it welcomed us. You have to come and visit to believe something like it exists.

Madame Chantal is a very kind and pleasant host. The chalet was decorated beautifully and located in a corner of her amazing garden. It has a cosy bed with plenty of pillows. Breakfast was typically French; very tasty croissants, confiture and baguette. Would definitely recommend as a peaceful place from which to explore Verdun and its surroundings.

I didn't speak french much so Google translate worked well both ways. Parking garage or off road parking for the motorcycle. Excellent clean room, balcony for smokers, great bathroom, mini bar, African themed room. Nice 10 minute walk through village to kebab bar or small restaurant. Great breakfast with home made jams.The 4 poster bed & decor made the room stand out.

Absolutely stunning and spacious early 20th century home. A perfect location for our family to celebrate Christmas. Loved the large dining table. The Living space was comfortable with plenty of seats for our family to gather. Games provided to entertain the children. Kitchen has a electric/gas cooktop, oven, kettle, coffee pot, and Tassimo machine. It was stocked with quality cookware, making it easy to make Christmas dinner. The washing machine was a plus as it was a rainy weekend and a little muddy. The location is near a 1870-71 Prusso-French battlefield and several WWI campaigns. We visited German trenches near Flirey, and the craters at Les Esparges. The house is 30 min from Verdun. 40 min from Metz.
