A fantastic spot to stay! The owners are lovely people, the rooms are immaculate, superb area to exercise a dog after spending hours in a car and the breakfast is delicious. Superb! Merci!

Absolutely amazing find in the middle of Chinon. The host was incredibly friendly and the house was just wonderful. Amazing breakfast too!! I would have no hesitation to recommend this to anyone and definitely be back!!

The location is excellent. Right in the heart of the old town. But also next to a large car park where I could park for free overnight (between 7pm and 9am). However the parking is expensive at other times.

Chantal’s property is incredibly charming. We felt very connected to the history of the place. But despite being an historic building, it’s been fit out to a very high and modern standard. The property is in the middle of the countryside and from its garden you can see the beautiful views of the valley. The nearest town, Chinon, is a beautiful historic town and it’s only 10 minutes drive from the studio. Chantal herself was the perfect host and she made us feel at home during our stay. We would love to go back soon!

Secluded, yet well located only 6 or so miles from Chinon, this quiet converted Farmhouse had everything we could have wished for in a cottage. Classily decorated and stocked with every facility you would need for a week long stay, including a superb hot-tub and Netflix, we would recommend Cottage D'Eleanor and would love to have the opportunity to visit again. The host, Chantal, who lives on site, was always available to assist us with any need, from recommending excellent restaurants (we would certainly suggest Les Annees 30 in Chinon) to the best chateau to visit (there are 79 along the Loire valley!). The views from the farmhouse are lovely and the cottage still retains many historical touches whilst being cleverly modernised for 21st century life (mind your head on the oak beams in the second bedroom though :). Great value for money, we felt this is a place to be highly recommended.

Pierre and Angélique are wonderful hosts who have turned the farm into a comfortable and cozy guesthouse. The relaxing spa, the safe shelter for our bicycles, the home cooked dinner and freshly baked bread and breakfast cakes made our stay memorable and provided the perfect « home » base for our Loire cycling tour.
