    Most especially the warm, welcoming hosts, who helped us find hikes and navigate the area. We also enjoyed the rooms, which were simple but comfortable and tasteful (retro-rustic), and had lovely balconies from which to enjoy the mountain air. The location is also excellent: Saint Dalmas is a quiet, unhurried but charming French mountain town with a local pizzeria / Bar Tabac, grocery and not too much else. It was the perfect location to set off for hikes in the Parc Mercantour and to see other villages such as Saint Martin Vésubie.

    Celine, the host, is friendly, helpful and very responsive. The apartment is well equipped, beautiful and very clean. The shower is fantastic. The village is picturesque and in a great location for many hikes. We had a wonderful stay.
