This is one of the very few establishments I would go back to without hesitation. It felt like home from home. Our host Jane was very welcoming and hospitable. Compared to the average B&B the room was huge with all the facilities you could possibly want including a grand piano.

Joe is a wonderful host; he knows everything about the city and helped us arrange taxis and figure out great places to eat. The room is comfortable and the house has everything you need while on vacation. Joe is easy-going and helpful without being overbearing or nosy. Everything! The ladies who work here were extremely nice. All of the staff members actually. Bathroom was clean. Room was clean. The park near and the playground for kids were so big and really nice. I love it. I love everything actually. P.S We saw a squirrel 🥰

I could say that I liked everything, but, especially, I loved the way the staff made you feel comfortable. Again, Ann, you saved my life this morning ;-) The room is fantastic, nice views, quite big, good temperature. You have a small kitchen, with a fridge and a wash machine ... The bed is very comfortable, also the sofa(s) ... So overall, very happy!!

The room was great and not far from the train station to walk. It was also easy to get the bus into Southampton to go to town as I did not have a car. Host was super friendly, accommodating and nice.

The breakfast was great…. It offered other than a full breakfast. The room was quite small and was 2 single beds but on the requested ground floor. The fire alarm went at 7am as someone was vaping in their room. The pub meal was great and exceeded our expectations as did the whole experience of staying at this quaint, out of town pub. The staff were helpful and friendly , well worth the opportunity of staying there.

Well situated, clean and very comfortable flat. I rented it as a solo traveler because of its location, but it is very spacious and can accommodate quite a few more people. A very pleasant stay ! The owner, Donna, has been very accommodating and understanding. Thank you again, Donna, and I hope to see you again next year !

    Great little find! And would certainly stay here again. Location was good, in a village with plenty of places to eat within walking distance. The room was basic but provides everything you need for a good stay. The accommodation is set within a stunning private garden, which the host was very happy for you to wander around. The host was great and very attentive (but not to an annoying level). She absolutely adored my dog too, so double bonus : )

    Stayed in the small cottage. The small boxes of cereals were a lovely touch. Milk in fridge. Tea and coffee and bread for stay. Jean the host was fabulous. It's 5 min walk to village for pubs and restaurants. Two craft ale bars to find. Hidden Tap and Crackle Rock. Great weekend. Thanks.

    Our host, Jean, made us feel very welcome as soon as we arrived. The room was very comfortable and cosy (we stayed in December).Great selection available for breakfast. Lovely, quiet location within a few minutes walk of the village centre. Otters Green is very dog friendly and great value. Thanks for a lovely stay.

    Great place to stay the night before our cruise from Southampton. Lovely rooms in a quiet but convenient location, set back from the main road just a few minutes walk from the local village which had several nice places to eat and drink. Quirky little breakfast room with nice help yourself continental breakfast. Friendly and helpful host. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and recommend this to anyone.

    Quaint cottage style accommodation with some quirky features. Lots of thoughtful touches, even hot water bottles! Dog friendly but limited space to exercise but there is a park at the other end of the village.

    Very good location for visiting the Ageas Bowl a short drive or good walk away but parking on site so fine - Botley is a lovely little village. Very friendly and helpful owner with a good selection for breakfast (cold buffet). Everything is a little small and cramped but it's very good value and we would definitely stay there again when attending an event at the Ageas Bowl.

    Good location for the Village Centre and access to other transport links. Loved the setting of Otters Green, access to the garden and outdoor sitting areas. The room was very clean, had very nice bedding, good selection of tea/coffee and had some nice touches including waterbottles! The breakfast was excellent with a wide choice available, the owner was lovely as well. Would certainly stay again.

    Located within easy walking distance to the village and local pub, eateries etc. Jean is a very welcoming host and nothing is too much trouble, Jean even shared a casserole that she had made with me, which was delicious and very welcome during the cold spell we had. I booked the single room for a business trip, which is perfectly equipped and very comfortable. The breakfast is plentiful and generous. I will certainly try to book Otters green again when in the area.
