Amazing place. The house was built in 1823 and you can feel it in the atmosphere of the place. It's not only about it's age, but most of all about the great renovation work that was done by the new owners since 2003. It's a great story - you can read it in the materials you will find in your room. Basically, it's a XIX century palace that was magically transferred to year 2023 (and fitted with plumbing and electricity). Most importantly, the staff was exceptionally friendly. The night manager that checked us in when we were late after a 4-hour whale boat trip was just amazing. I should have asked about his name...

The location was ideal for me as a train traveller – directly opposite the station and still very quiet. The room and private external bathroom were exceptionally clean and well-equipped, and the bed was very comfortable. I also thoroughly enjoyed the generous breakfast. Sandra is a great host, very accommodating - would definitely book again!

Cosy little cottage that felt like home. The host was amazing, leaving us with a beautiful care package on arrival. Our dog was also in heaven with the amazingly large garden to run around in. Would highly recommend a stay here if you want to spend sometime in the central highlands with easy access to all areas.
