location was great, lovely quiet village with a few pubs and a shop - short drive to scarfell pike or a beach. The cottage was so clean and comfortable too. Had everything we needed. Loved the little garden too, breakfast in the sun was a treat. Had a great couple of nights sleep on a very nice hotel quality bed and bedding - very quiet and dark. Lots of parking on the street outside.

    Quaint, cosy cottage, next door to the farmhouse. Fantastic vista out of the front door- rolling hills/mountains. Walks from the doorstep and just a short drive into Gosforth village. Plenty of places to eat. We ordered take away pizzas from Wild Olive and they were lovely. Also a short drive to Scafell Pike if you fancy climbing England’s highest mountain!
