    The location is perfect for those doing the NC500 road trip. Less than 10 mins drive from John O Groats and in a very peaceful location just 5 minutes walk from The Village Inn which is really lovely. Our room was gorgeous! Views were spectacular! Breakfast is perfect for grab and go or for relaxing in the communal dining room. The little touches like Quack McSparrow are so appreciated.

    Absolutely beautiful lodge. Everything is finished to an exceptional standard. Extremely clean when we arrived, has everything you would need in the lodge. Very comfortable. The hot tub looking out to the sea sets this to another level compared to other lodges I’ve stayed in before. I could have sat looking out there all day. The village itself is nice, everyone is super friendly. The local pub serves lovely food at a very reasonable price. We ended up eating here both nights. I honestly could not fault this place. Will 100% be back.

    Everything about Flotnar Hus was outstanding. View from our bedroom window, hot tub with views, cleanliness, modern facilities, quality bathroom products and great communication with owner. Short walk to Village Inn pub with good food and friendly staff and 7 mile drive to John o Groats ideal accommodation for our day trip to Orkney. Will definitely recommend to family and friends.
