Gregori and his parents are lovely people who shared their home with us. Gregori speaks English and showed us his little farm. He gave us travel recommendations. We enjoyed plenty of homemade delicious food (best Khatchapuri Georgias) and wine. It is a wonderful place to relax and come in touch with Georgian life in the countryside. Honestly, this was THE BEST place we have stayed so far during our 3-month travel all the way from Central Asia to Georgia. Eterie, the sweet land lady with the most welcoming smile and preparing delicious breakfasts maximized the joy of our stay at her beautiful guesthouse with multiple rooms. Ours, was a double bedroom with the most comfortable bed and mattress, and a newly renovated bathroom. The room is well-lit overlooking a spacious balcony with an eternal view towards distant green mountains. Also, we were privileged to have the company of cute cats sometimes. I should add that two little doggos would give us lots of wagging tales and smiles. In return, we would pet them and receive so much love. To summarize, the level of serenity of this place was beyond my expectation. Loved it, and if I go back to Georgia, I will definitely go to Tkibuli and stay in GK guesthouse again.

We only had a short stay here but really enjoyed the host's hospitality and welcoming attitude. Delicious and big breakfast. It was a pity we did not stay longer, everyone was friendly and the area seemed very idyllic and inviting to spend more time.

Our stay at this lovely hotel near Kutaisi in Gelati exceeded all expectations. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had a welcoming atmosphere. Each room had a balcony with beautiful views of the surrounding landscape, and we were lucky enough to stay in one with a direct view of the Gelati Monastery – absolutely breathtaking. The highlight of our stay, though, was the warm hospitality from our hosts. They went out of their way to make us feel at home. Nino, our host, is a wealth of knowledge about the area’s history and a remarkable cook. Every meal was a feast, and we highly recommend trying both the breakfast and dinner. Her homemade wine added an extra special touch to the experience. We can’t wait to return and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and authentic Georgian experience.

This is the gold standard on how an agro guesthouse should be run. This whole place gives you an experience of Georgian hospitality in the countryside. The location is very rural with farm animals visiting. It’s very quiet at night (which is unusual for Georgia). The ladies that run the place are very warm and will do everything to make sure you feel comfortable. We had breakfast twice and dinner with wine twice - all the food was absolutely amazing and there is no way you can eat it all. On one night we had live music and on both nights we were lucky as Maja (the owner) hosted a group of German choir who sang beautiful Georgian music - it was an unforgettable experience. The room was very clean and smelled of freshness with a comfortable bed. You will hear people walking on floor upstairs but it didn’t bother us. To sum it up: it’s a rural guesthouse with a warm Georgian atmosphere, excellent food and hospitality on a top level. Best suited for people who like the countryside and a quiet location. If we ever visit that area again we will definitely stay there.

When we arrived late at night we were greeted with a table full of homemade delicacies. We very much enjoyed the warm-hearted atmosphere and the peaceful setting of the guesthouse, which is within walking distance to the rock.

A good location for a hassle-free getaway in Katsʼkhi, Vaso's Guesthouse is a guest house surrounded by views of the inner courtyard.
