Heracles is the warmest and most soft spoken person we met on the trip. We were warmly greated and made feel like guests at someone’s house. Also he kindly let us checkout later as we went for a hike in the morning and desperately needed a shower before getting on our way.

This is a very special and unique place. Sure some of the furniture could be renewed or rearranged, the kitchen was old-style yet functional. Don't come here if you want a mojito-party-all-included vacation. Villa Sissi has some how managed to escape mass tourism, it's really great for forgetting about the world and just going back to simple life but with an idyllic scenery surrounding you.

This place really lives up to its description of the best luxury guest room in Spili. First of all it is located with lovely views across the valley and the main sound was bird song, and ye tit is only 5 minutes walk from the town. The room and facilities were excellent with the added bonus of a covered terrace with table and chairs outside. The room was well equipped for two with tea/coffee making and crockery etc. There were welcoming touches with a bowl of fruit and things in the fridge. It was a lovely [place to start off and finish the day. Nikola the host was very welcoming and helpful. we would stay again.

The view from the villa was breathtaking, the villa itself was very comfortable & well equipped - the bedrooms were all lovely & spacious, it was very clean throughout & there was a lot of space inside & outside - the top balcony was especially wonderful to have breakfast on & watch storms out at sea during our stay! Short walk into Kerames village to a well stocked mini-market & the excellent & very friendly taverna in the centre - amazing food & generous post-dinner raki! George was really helpful & quick to respond to any query we had.

Spacious studio, great fan above the beds to cool the room together with the AC. Good kitchenette with almost everything you need. Thrash was taken out daily. Really nice terace, with shade a big part of the day and great views of the sea. Plenty of parking space for all guests

A very nice villa with fantastic view of Triopetra. A bit isolated but easily accessible. Quiet and peaceful. Everything you need in the fully equipped kitchen to prepare breakfast or a simple meal. Friendly owner who thought of everything for the comfort of the guests. Was difficult to leave, will have to come back!

    The less touristy village and its welcoming inhabitants were my most pleasant surprise during my stay. The house is decorated with care and detail to make the traditional Cretan experience unique. The house is spacious, and its balcony offers a breathtaking view of the mountain with stunning colors. The host is very responsive and helpful, with a good level of English.

    This is one of the cutest places in Crete. The house has absolutely everything one needs, it is cosy, very clean and quiet. The owner Jannis as well as the village population are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Although the village is small it has several tavernas and a mini supermarket. There is a bus stop 5 minutes from the house, where the bus takes you in shortest time to Rethymno or Agia Galini or Spili. If you have a car it is also very easy to get to the beach in 15 minutes.

    The studio is located in a small village in the mountains with a lot of friendly people. With the car the next beach is 17 min away. The apartment is newly renovated. There is a kitchen with an oven. The host was very generous and provided a bit of wine, raki, and olive oil as a gift.
