I got the keys from the reception area of the restaurant. A staff member actually drove me to the place a few hundred metres further down as it was difficult to locate it at first glance. He even helped me out with my luggage. The place was exceptional. The room was very big and clean. I had a kitchenette. The bathroom was big, and VERY clean. I could look at the Gerolimenas bay from the balcony. There was airconditioning and the internet connection was exceptional. There was even a TV, in case I wanted to watch anything. I could walk to the Gerolimenas bay, If I wanted to.

Wonderful unusual property / castle . We enjoyed our room on the top floor. The views were sensational, once we arrived we did not leave . The staff were friendly and the breakfast was very nice . Some amazing little bays to swim at around this area and some local tavernas to enjoy .

Just as other guests mentioned, the accomodation is an experience in itself, as it's a real old traditional stone house, adapted to offer comfort like AC, running hot and cold water. Nothing fancy but clean and welcoming. We didn't miss anyhting and appreciate all the efforts put in. The terrace is a nice place to start and end the day. Costas, our host, couldn't be more welcoming, he prepared and printed for us information about the Mani history and places to visit, as well as the hostory of the house built by his ancestors. He's there for anything his guests may need or ask. One thing to know is that a car is required, and also the nearest eating out options are in Gerolimenas, a few kilometers away. There is a grocery store in town.

The place was just great, quiet and spacious. The host, Mr Dimos was very friendly and he gave us an extra heater for our comfort. A bottle of wine was there on our arrival and fresh oranges and candies, among the rest.

This place is a little piece of heaven. It would be hard to find anywhere with a view like the one from the balcony, the turquoise bay and mountainous coast behind, with the peaceful sound of the waves pervading the apartment. This was the best part of our holiday, with the beach so close and the quiet of the village - hardly any noise from the road. The apartment was spotless and even in such a tiny kitchen space we were able to cook a variety of simple dishes with the appliances and cookware supplied. There is only one taverna in the village and the small supermarket is pretty basic, because the village is so un-touristy, but that is part of its charm. I suggest stocking up before you arrive. The host, Sotiris, offered us a share of his breakfast pancakes and fresh lemons and tomatoes from his garden. We also benefited from the attentions of an extremely affectionate and charming cat!

    We loved the views and the peacefulness of the village and the location in front of the old port. Owner of the Taverna was helpful, answered our questions and related to us the history of the area.

    Having a spacious outdoor terrace with view over the bay; very peaceful location on very edge of village and within minutes walk of all restaurants and the small but well provisioned village store; very easy access to the sea - and hearing waves lapping from room; accommodation staff very friendly and helpful.

    the location was excellent. Right by the sea which we did swim in (in March). Good hiking in the immediate area, much involving lane walking but the lanes were so quiet this wasn’t a problem. The wild flowers were amazing. There were three tavernas/restaurants open in the village while we were there, several other restaurants would clearly be open later in the season too. All are in easy walking distance. Our room was lovely, beautifully clean and comfortable with a balcony overlooking the sea.
