We spent four nights here (21–25 July 2025) and frankly can’t find a single thing to complain about. Spotless apartment – floors, bathroom, linens, all squeaky-clean on arrival and kept that way. Genuinely friendly staff – quick check-in, helpful tips about the area, zero attitude. Location – two-minute stroll to Karteros Beach and a coffee shop right next door, so mornings were easy. Parking – on-site space reserved for guests; no circling the block. Self-catering perks – no breakfast offered, but the kitchen had everything I needed, from decent cookware to a working fridge. Value for money is bang-on. If you want a clean, hassle-free base by the beach, book it and don’t overthink.

Everything! An absolutely perfect place for a family holiday. The rooms were comfortable and spacious with fantastic views. As well as the pool the venue has a garden which has a lovely play area for children (including a small football pitch). The garden also has a very reasonably priced restaurant. An addition advantage is that the sandy beach is only a few yards away. Finally the host George, was very friendly and super-helpful with lots of good advice on trips etc. So don't bother looking for somewhere better, you won't find it.

We stayed 8 nights at Nancy Chara Apartments and it was a lovely experience. Nancy is very kind, helpful and was always contactable for whatever questions we had about the area. The apartment complex itself was extremely clean, tidy and pleasing to the eye. The pool was cleaned daily as was the area surrounding it. There are many sun loungers available to guests and a little area for refreshments, coffees and I believe food at certain times of the day. We stayed in a split level apartment and had a view to the North, overlooking the airplanes landing, it was nice to watch them all come in. The apartment was clean and comfortable with everything that we needed. There was AC in the main room which worked amazingly and double doors out onto the balcony. A fresh sheet, two clean towels and toilet paper were given every two days as well as a cleaning of the apartment which was a lovely touch. Karteros itself is a small, quiet town which is a nice change from Heraklion city with its busy streets and is in very close proximity by bus. We did all of our site seeing by bus and it was very easy from Nancy Chara Apartments as the bus stop is a 2 minute walk away as are many small and bigger shops, coffee shops, restaurants and many beaches with loungers. We don’t have a bad word to say about our stay and we were even able to stay a few hours after check in as our flight was late in the evening which was extremely helpful. If we revisit the area we will definitely be back to Nancy Chara Apartments. Thank you for your hospitality.

Super nice and clean room, which is also close to the Airport (10-15 min drive). The host was super friendly and helpful. The room is very new and you have everything available. There is also a little kitchen area with everything you might need + a Nespresso machine. There are also several big supermarkets available in a 5 min walk.

The room was spacious and well designed. The metal sliding doors could be used as partitions to create a dedicated room in the open studio. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances for a lovely breakfast on the balcony. The room is new and super comfortable in a good position not far from Heraklion airport ;the self check in was a great thing as I arrived late with my flight and I had to leave really early , so everything was quick and efficient . I liked the comfort of the room and the quality of the bed ! And everything was super clean . I liked so much that I came back on my way home . Restaurants and bars and supermarkets nearby .

    5 star service. Blue Green Villa is a beautiful property set in lovely grounds. The pool area was fantastic, lots of space both in the shade and in the sun. The sun beds were comfy and in excellent condition. The bedrooms were comfy, modern and all had air conditioning as were the bathrooms. The kitchen was high spec and very well equipped. The fridge provided filtered water and ice and there was filtered water on tap.

    Beautiful, large villa, very well maintained with extensive grounds and facilities. Met by our host Chris on arrival, he took the time to show us around and gave us a full explanation of the facilities and a very generous welcome package which was very much appreciated as we arrived very close to midnight!! As a host, Chris went above and beyond to make our holiday as problem free and memorable as possible.

    very helpful with assistance on leaving bags as had to be out of villa early, had some lovely food there , great facilities for small children with safe and secure play area,the luxury appartment was lovely, would definately reccomend for a days stay to catch a late flight only 5 mins drive from airport

    Right on the ocean, away from touristy crowds! Excellent space to stretch. Short walk to the ocean. 2 restaurants next to the villa, coffee shop at the entrance, walking distance to car rental, bus stop, convenient stores. Great location.

    Best accomodation I have ever visited, all was very clean, luxury furnished and new! Spacious villa with big yard and swimming pool, very close to airport, Heraklion and beach! Very thankful to our host Chris for his kindness and all the compliments we received - fruits, food and drinks! It was a really wonderful surprise for us!
