My daughter and I appreciated a comfortable bed and the welcome snacks and water after a long day! The host was really nice and offered to drive us to the Airport for €10 instead of taxi.

Great location to relax, with a nice view on the bay. the room was completely renovated, fresh, clean and cozy. Dimitri, the host, welcomed us warmly and he was very kind and insightful, sharing daily tips to enjoy our staying to the max.

The hotel is in a perfect location, very central, yet with excellent soundproofing. The cleanliness is outstanding; towels and toiletries like shampoo are refreshed daily. The reception staff are very attentive, always willing to help with any questions or issues. They also provide great recommendations for beaches and restaurants on the island. Very professional—10 out of 10! :)

We stayed at Althaea for a week as a family and we were perfectly satisfied with the property. The rooms were immaculate on arrival and beautifully cleaned each morning. The staff were super helpful and kind, helped us with local recommendations, taxi bookings etc. While breakfast is not included in the stay, the property’s cafe has excellent breakfast options which was very convenient. The location is also great! It is a 2min walk to the beginning of the main “shopping” street, 15mins walk from the old port and 10min taxi from the airport. We would choose Althaea again if we came back to Skiathos!

The accommodation was very tastefully furnished. Every evening, our room was cleaned, with fresh towels provided and coffee prepared in the machine for the next morning. Goergia was truly very accommodating with everything we asked for, and I sincerely thank her for that. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

Everything was perfect. Kostas was extremely helpful and offered to pick us up from the airport. He even let us store our luggage while we waited for our ferry and then brought it to us to the port. Room was perfectly cleaned every day. Location was also great, just a 10 minute walk to the first restaurants by the sea. Can wholeheartedly recommend.

    Excellent, well-appointed villa with a private pool and terrace, separate kitchen area, marble stairwell and access to beach. The friendliness of the staff, both the cleaners and the host liaison, made us feel immediately at ease and taken care of. Any issues or questions we had (such as re-setting the air conditioner and fixing a sticky door) were attended to promptly. We were picked up from the airport and given a lift to the accommodation, and sent us a forgotten item via DHL. Outstanding accommodation and service.

    Sunday our host was outstanding, never had a host that has gone out of their way so much. From picking us up at the airport and then dropping us back off to meet our friends, to coming over to the villa to see how we are getting on, offering advice, calling maintenance guy to check on things and to even giving us jumpers for a boat trip to keep us warm. Sunday made our simply trip even more simpler.

    This villa is amazing such a great location with lovely views of the sea. Only a short walk through the walkway to the beach with its own beach bar. Cleaning staff excellent so friendly and willing to help and the meet and greet service was also excellent with nothing being too much hassle

    Villa Melia is a special place. The view was spectacular, beach was cloae, as the bus stop. I didn't mind the walk up the hill, it's very doable, even if you don't exercise. The owner was very kind and helpful.

    Wonderful host who picked us up at the airport (free of charge). Very helpful and the first day he gave us a map and pointed out places to see. He arranged for us to hire a vespa - good price. The Villa was located upon a small hill overlooking the sea and the view was fantastic and breath taking. Nice pool area. Very calm and familiar place and we love to come back again.

    The staff were brilliant getting us to the villa during the horrendous storm,September 2023,which put a curfew in place ! Bruna ,sorry if misspelled, was a cheerful dream !The Outdoor space was great ,and view superb,access to the small beach by tunnel under the road was v useful!
