Yes, this bamboo villa is worth the price. Unique experience! Happy that we booked the curve house as this had the additional porch for a better view. We had amazing breakfast there.

One of the friendliest families I have lived with in Bali. Delicious breakfast and you can order dinner in addition which is unreal. Luckily my wife and I booked this Resort for 3 nights in the beautiful region of Sidemen. The personal of the Sawah Indah was extraordinary helpful and courteous. We had a bungalow that was located a little hidden on the property with an open bathroom (partial open roof) and a nice sitting area at the entrance of the bungalow. The breakfast had two options, Balinese or Western type – where we always chose the Balinese breakfast of course. It was also possible to get it as a vegetarian version. The restaurant of the Sawah Idah was also very good for dinner, still, alternative Warungs and other restaurants are available within minutes by foot. A comfortable bed for the night guaranteed a recharge after exciting day trips around this magnificent region of north-east Bali. Unfortunately, we haven’t had the opportunity to go in the swimming pool, but it looked fantastic in the scenery of the beautiful garden and surrounding rice fields.

The host and staff were awesome. They were available 24/7. One morning, we had to get up at 3:30 a.m. and were shocked that there was no water supply. We contacted Gede, and he was on it immediately. 10-15 mins later, the water is back on. The Wifi is very strong and fast despite being in the middle of paddy fields and near a forest. The place is very clean. The view of the mountains and the rice field directly from our stay is second to none. The walk from the main road to the villa can be quite narrow in some areas, and you must be careful. But we enjoyed the experience of walking back along the stream to our villa and enjoying the view of the rice fields. The walk to Sandar Villa takes about 4 minutes from the main road, and it can be rather slippery and muddy after rain. And the speaker provided in the villa was a nice thought. Here's a snippet of the walk from the main road to the villa to give you a better idea of what you will be experiencing at this stay: https://vt.tiktok.com/ZSjxfXnAk/ TIPS: 1) Pack a small torchlight to take with you if you return after 6.30 pm. The walk along the stream back to your villa is not well-lit. Some areas are in total darkness, and you can barely see your feet. The last thing you want is to miss a step and hurt yourself. Though the torch from your phone may help, it may not be bright enough. The villa provides a torch, but it's a tad too big to take it with you in your handbag. 2) Always keep the netting to cover your bed to avoid tiny insects and dust from the roof and dirty your bed linen. 3) Off all lights just before sunrise to avoid any bugs and insects flying in - especially those attracted to lights. 4) Wake up early and enjoy the sunrise. 5) Stay is NOT Recommended for families with young kids

The stay was very good and as soon as I arrived I felt home. The couple don't speak English but you understand how lovely they are and helpful they want to be to make you feel confortable. Their son is fluent in English and French and as a tourist guide he gave me some good recommendations to do within my stay. He also play music and sang while dinner which was amazing. I rent a scooter with them and I went everywhere I wanted to go with it. Thank for for those lovely 2 nights.

    What an exotic location! On the mountainside with a view on the ocean, the villa’s are located, some with a nice terrace, some with their own pool. There are 2 central infinity pools with incredible views. Personnel all friendly and competent. Very nice stay, will definitely return here.

    We liked everything, starting from owners, they were so nice and wonderful people! Took a really good care of us. Property was clean, beautiful and comfortable. It was easy to reach everything with scooter (all popular beaches and temples in the area). They also rent scooter there. Breakfast was good, tv worked well, best experience and high recommendations from us! We even had small fish pool outside, which was very cool! It’s not like apartment, it’s more like private villa, because you stay with no people around over the gates.

    It feels like heaven! Extremely quiet, with magnificent view, the swimming pool is awesome, the villa is very spacious (large rooms, big bed, sofa bed, large terrace with kitchen and cosy outdoor lounge bed) and intimate, no vis-a-vis. Indoor/outdoor living at its best. Of course the personnel is very warm and gentle. We loved it and the children loved it (3 and 7yo).

    Everything about it was perfect and beautiful. We were greeted warmly by the staff. It was my birthday & there was a towel birthday cake and flower petals on the bed 💜 The villa was large, clean, and well laid out. The bathroom was huge and had a double shower. Large balcony overlooking the forest. The pool was clean and had an awesome view.
