This was an absolute gem of a find. We only stayed here for its convenience and proximity to the port but in hindsight we would have stayed longer if we had time. Such a lovely family who couldn’t do enough for us. The dinner was amazing and one of the best meals we’ve had in Indonesia. The room was clean and spacious. And the setting is great - tropical gardens in a quiet village. The sunset spot at the back of the property is awesome as well!

Very nice little oasis to return to each evening after a day full of exploration and advantures. Bungalows are brand new and very clean. Place is run by a familly and the hosts are extremly friendly and have helped us with advices and their contacts more than once:) I highly recommend also ordering the dinner at the property as the food is amazing and there is probably more than you can eat😁 Ingreedients are sourced localy and don’t hesitate to ask to see how they keep the bees for honey and process the cashews😁

We loved walking in to an air conditioned room after a couple of days hiking Mt Rinjani. The bungalows demonstrate the perfect balance of tranquility and comfort. The hosts are amazing! Josch & Jeannie are very attentive and super lovely with lots of local knowledge. Definitely try one of Jeannie’s meals you won’t regret it!!!

- Superb service, attitude, beautiful villas and swimming pool, comfort in every detail. Provided beautiful kimono in rooms for her and him (different). So cute. - Very good location in a quite place, 15 minutes slow walk to the sun set point, restaurants, etc. - Own beach with sun beds and bar there. Beach towels and beach bag provided. Beach is beautiful. But keep in mind that from the morning till +- 1 PM not possible to swim there due to the low tide. - Hotel also provides bicycles rent (+- 5 eur per day). - qualitative and tasty food in the restaurant, good choice, prices lower than in other restaurants. Good cocktails in the bar, cheaper than in other places and with more alcohol. Recommend to order a horse taxi service (from to port) from the hotel in advance- hotel representative will meet you in port, give you the instructions not to overpay for the horse taxi and pay only on arrival. We paid 100 000 rp one way but have heard that horse taxi drivers requested from other guests 150 000 rp and more. - hotel provides floating breakfast - 1 time is included into the price but its enough to take a pictures for your beautiful memories.

For me Villa Tokay was perfection. I arrived on Gilli Air with high expectations and was not disappointed. From the beautiful location, to the lovely, polite and professional staff my brief stay was highly pleasurable. I have been coming to Indonesia for my holidays for a long time and Villa Tokay may be the nicest, cleanest place I have ever stayed!! My girl friend and I had such a lovely experience that we will definitely be returning and I have been recommending this location to all my family and friends.
