James has been an exceptional host. The house and accommodation are so well taken care of, with lots of details (fresh flowers and water), and had everything we needed. We will definitely come back ! Besides, we got to sleep in the bed that once belonged to Thomas Lefroy (for the ones who do not know, he was the person from whom Jane Austen got inspired when inventing Mr Darcy in her famous Pride and Prejudice). Definitely felt like being in her novel, staying at this beautiful property ! I'd like to mention that James (host) made our stay at Summergrove House unforgettable. From the welcome drink to the restaurant reservation to the nice breakfast in the morning (see picture) to our lovely conversations in the drawing room in front of the fireplace, we felt spoiled and at ease in this peaceful and quiet estate. Excellent excellent stay! Couldn’t recommend more. We were traveling to Dublin the next day and was the best option in terms of money (Dublin is twice the price for accommodation). We also needed to wash some clothes and it was perfect since they also have a dryer and we had our clothes ready for the next day. Very nice host. It was literally one of the best places I’ve ever stayed in. Couldn’t recommend more. Very clean, everything you needed was provided

We felt so well received at this very special hotel. Such charming staff and environment, plus a five star dinner in excellent company left is wanting to come back.

Room was beautiful, as were public areas of the property. Setting, being so close to the town, was perfect. The whole property was superbly appointed, and clean (spotless!) throughout. Would highly recommend this property as being exceptional in terms of value and quality.

The B & B was easy to find, we always use the post code on our GPS. The car park is directly beside the house with plenty of parking in the rear. It had good Wi-Fi. Our shower had the most water pressure that I have ever encountered. A wonderful Georgian town house. The breakfast was perfect.
