The rooms were kept neat and tidy and spacious good enough for 6 of us including a child bathrooms were hygienic and well maintained with 24 hours water availability. The home stay is spacious with three bed rooms a couple of them air conditioned and one of them not with A/C . Kitchen was well equipped but for a gas stove or electric stove and will be available soon as per the host . The home stay will be more efficient if equipped with an RO water purifier. The host and their family were very friendly and caring and were supportive .

Mr.Jithin Hotel staff was very polite and honest. I forgot my wallet in the hotel and left to Trivandrum. I thought I lost it. I called Jithin to check my room, it was loaded with money. He is so honest, he took the pic and sent it to my WhatsApp, assured me it's with him and I can collect it. I came back and collected the same!!! Kudos to Jithin...

Location is very calm and peaceful. I feel like my own home. They prepared the homemade food for us. It was very tasty and delicious. The warm hospitality of Deepa and care the family puts to making sure all guests treated for an exceptionally memorable trip. We also did a canoe tour, which was amazing.. We couldn't have asked for a better experience Highly recommend!

A gem of a homestay and a gem of a host. From the moment we came to the property, it felt like a little slice of paradise tucked away right next to the water, abs beautiful home away from home! Location is spot on and the owner Suresh was also nice enough to give us his two bicycles for us to explore the island freely. Plenty of space inside and out, all well maintained. Great, homely area outside on the veranda to chill and have food/tea/coffee, which the family is always more than happy to prepare. Suresh will work hard every day to ensure we had everything we needed, including canoe ride, booking transport and also a ride on his very own motorbike around the island's more tucked away corners. We def recommend this homestay to anyone coming to Munroe Island and we hope to return again.

Green Chromide is just amazing!! The location on the river side, the wooden chalet, the food are excellent. Sunaina and her family are so genuine, authentic and welcoming. They have made my stay very memorable. Munroe Island and Green Chromide have touched me deeply. Sunaina arranges everything you want to do in a blink and also understands visitors coming from a different culture. Everybody knows each other, so you will be taken care of with a big smile.
