Very friendly hosts and very helpful. Airport transportation perfekt. Beautiful rooms, not only warm but hot (!) showers, comfy beds, very good and rich breakfast! Quiet at night. City center is in walking distance. Once we enjoyed dinner on site, which was delicious. We travelled individually without pre-booked tour, so we had to organize a lot on site. The host helped us brilliantly with this. We could not have imagined anything better. Many thanks again for the wonderful time and your help with our organization!

The accommodation itself was excellent. The rooms were furnished exactly as needed for the specific location that a tourist requires. I truly felt at home away from home. However, what truly stood out was the exceptional service provided by the owner in organizing various aspects of my travel. Their willingness went above and beyond expectations as the owner took care of every detail and ensured my travel was comfortable. They expertly handled transportation and provided the best options for exploring the surroundings. They also provided valuable tips and recommendations regarding local attractions and activities, which enhanced my overall experience. The ability to handle permits and other travel formalities was invaluable. It allowed me to focus on enjoying my stay without unnecessary worries or problems. We had a great stay at Rock Castle. The rooms are huge and very comfortable, breakfast is delicious, drinking water is available 24/7. Stairs to go up to Tsemo Castle are really close and Leh market is at only 10min walking distance. Most of all, the owner Tsewang was of great help to plan our trip in Ladakh!

In October, I had the pleasure of staying at Raku Guest House and I cannot express enough how exceptional my experience was. From the moment I arrived, the warmth and hospitality extended by the family who runs the lodge were truly remarkable. The family welcomed me into their home with open arms, creating an atmosphere that felt more like visiting old friends rather than staying at a guest lodge. Their genuine care and attention to detail made my stay memorable and exceeded all expectations. One of the standout features was the delicious home-cooked breakfast prepared by the family. The organically-grown apples from their garden were delicious and that added a unique and delightful dimension to my stay. Beyond the comfortable accommodation and picturesque surroundings, what truly set this homestay apart was the family's willingness to go above and beyond to ensure guests felt like a part of their extended family. Whether it was offering local insights, organizing cultural experiences, or simply engaging in heartwarming conversations, their genuine enthusiasm for hosting made every moment special. For hiking enthusiasts, I embarked on the Markha Valley trek, and they arranged for a local guide while also offering transportation to and from the trailhead.     The hotel was immaculately clean, comfortable, and well-located in a village within walking distance of Leh Market. The owner, Gonbo, was incredibly hospitable, from offering fresh mint tea when mint was harvested in the garden to making a bonfire at night. With many years of experience as a travel guide, he arranged our inner line permits and drivers and offered valuable advice about local places and food. The balcony from the room had a great view of the castle, Shanti Stupa, the garden, and the mountains. I would definitely stay here again.
