Surrounded by the ocean is absolutely breathtaking. You can walk around the village and relax. This is the great place to see the Aurora due to low city light around (and we saw that!). Clean, lots of surfaces where to stow your stuff, comfortable beds, small fridge and an amazing view of the seaside. There is a hot tube and a sauna that you can use if you want. The village is 15 min away from Reykjavik by car and in the evening is quite dark so we could see the Northern Lights just from outside our room. I stayed here several times over the past four years because of its remote location. If you want to be away from crowds and noise, this place is for you. It also has a hot-tub and sauna. Room is reasonably comfy but size of the basin is fairly small. Only issue about fisherman is that there’s a restaurant there but never in operation.
