This apartment must surely rank as one of the best we've stayed at in all our European travels. The place is spacious and bright and the fixtures and fittings are high-end. Our room was perfect, just what we needed for 3 nights. Very comfortable beds & spotless. The location is really the best & and close to everything. Massimo was outstanding. His attention to detail was next level. His recommendations for local restaurants & things to do was brilliant and he made us feel at home. We drove there & he arranged a disk for us to display in the car so we could park in the town. Thank you Massimo, we will definitely come and stay with you again when we are in Modena

    Our host Roberto was in constant contact with us. He had arranged for us to go to a restaurant and made the booking. Unfortunately, the boat we took from Patras to Ancona was 8 hours’ late. He waited up for us until 2 am! Villa Matildis is beautifully restored and decorated, with exquisite items of furniture. The bathroom was superb - as was the breakfast prepared freshly for us by Roberto.
