Everyone was so friendly. When we arrived, we walked around the area as the room was not ready yet. Beautiful surroundings with several small towns nearby where you can walk up the castles. It is the perfect location to unwind, find rest and be surrounded by an oasis of peace. Whether you want to lay by the pool all day, end your day with an outstanding dinner, or drive through a nearby city for a wine tasting or Italian restaurant - everything is possible.

Such a lovely place to stay while walking the Via Francigena. Big beautiful room with a view of one of the highlights, Monteriggioni, of the walk. Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Good restaurants very near as well. Do yourself a favor and stay here for a night!

The most perfect view from the pool and room. Bed was very comfortable and the room was very cleaned. Breakfast was served by order, with good options. The staff were super nice and amazing hosts! We had the best lunch with wine pairing and tried really good wines, olive oil and balsamic. The food was superb! Definitely a place to come back!

The location is marvellous, perfect for a few quiet days to enjoy the pool, the view and some delicious dinners! We mostly planned daytrips to several towns and other attractions in the region and found a great "homebase" at Poggiarello to relax afterwards. We will definetly be back :)

A perfect place to stay, and a perfect central place to visit the rest of Toscane. Parking is easy outside the city walls. Francesca (our very friendly landlady) gave useful info upfront. And on arriving we were offered a nice glass of wine, sitting in the central square just below our apartment. Everything was 'tiptop' in our apartment! Spacious bathroom, good bed and room was large with a small kitchenette. And the experience of stepping outside and having an espresso doppio, in the sun, in such a beautiful and ancient surrounding is priceless!

Very clean, spacious and fully equipped apartment. Charming tuscan styled building furnished with modern appliances. The host thought about every detail, botle opener, spices, cotton pads, all you can need. As we were traveling with a baby they also provided a crib and a high chair. Location is in a peaceful area, surrounded by nature but still just a short ride from Siena, Florence and other nearby cities. Very friendly host, helped with our luggage, provided us notes with best restaurants, attractions nearby as well as markets and their working hours.

    Wonderfull room and bathroom. Exceptionally clean. Very comfortable beds. Great A/C. Quiet. Excellent location. Provided a good boxed breakfast. Steffano was welcoming and provided a good restuarant recommendation - even made the reservation for us. The room was very well designed - they kept the old charm and had modern equipment/facilities. It was wonderful to stay inside a walled village. Would highly recommend.

    Beautiful castle/villa turned into hotel in Tuscany. Breakfast was nice and the coffee was always great in Italy. It is very close to Monteriggioni which made dinner in the walled town perfect!

    Located on the edge of Piazza Roma, within the walled city. Once the main tourist traffic has ceased, this lovely village quiets down, and a small number of restaurants are open for superb dinner. Make sure you book as the best ones fill up fast.

    I enjoyed the location on the piazza of Monteriggioni, right in the middle of the castle. In the video game, Assassin's Creed 2 this is where the villa of the protagonist was. The hosts were superb, kind, and informative. The breakfast box was plentiful. Great base for our explorations of Tuscany.
