We also rented the electrical bikes that are available against a fee - great bikes and ideal to visit the surrounding villages. The first night, we walked up the hills into town (oohing and ahhing as Americans not used to charm overload do) and had an amazing dinner. The village of Novello is located near Barolo, which made it easy to drive around the country roads and take in the views. We were sorry to leave.
