Good location when walking Iseji to/from Kumanoshi. Small but clean and modern bathroom unit. Washing machine free use. Large room with two futons as in picture. Common area to relax in. Had an excellent dinner and solid breakfast. Friendly and helpful host.

The owner of this Hostel Is very helpful. He offered to pick us up at the JR station as we arrived very late at Shingu. He also allowed us to leave the luggage in the hostel so that we can go hiking with the backpack only. For the room, it was very clean and tidy. In short, it was a very pleasant stay and I will recommend this place to the future travelers

Very cozy spot on the river bank. Ease of access to kumano kodo trail. We did the Hongu loop trail leaving from here, hiking to Hongu-taisha, then bus to Yunomine Onsen, and then hike the rest of the loop from there. Awesome experience!

This was one of our favorite stays! The balcony overlooking the bay had a nice view of the water, very quiet and peaceful little town surrounded by mountains and water. The guest house was beautiful and thoughtfully designed and the futons were comfortable to sleep on. We were right across the street from the water and we had a lovely walk on the beach. The host was very friendly and welcoming, he gave us some clementines he had grown and he also gave us a great recommendation for dinner.

The location is incredible in front of this huge tori. Waking up seeing this is incredible. The house is super confy and we’ll equipped. The little cafe near offers yummy breakfast and you are just walking distance from the sights.

The house is clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything you might need during your stay.
