The property had so much character, being a 100 years old with original timber frame, tatami flooring and exquisite furnishings. There's the cutest fluffy cat that is very fond of people that sleeps outside. You also get to wear typical yukata or Japanese sleepwear.

Very welcoming host, made us feel at home. The house is extremely clean, well kept/renovated, and well thought out. It offers everything you can possibly imagine (e.g., bike rental, washing machine, coffees, umbrellas). Also, Odawara station is in walking distance, there are great restaurants around, and you’re very close to the beach. We stayed here and went to Gotemba to see Fuji-San, as well as to Hakone for the lake. Would come back 10/10

It's a traditional Japanese home, with futons and a great choice of records. On top of that, there is a piano. A little untuned, but otherwise alright. This was my first time sleeping on a futon, but it was really comfy. The entire house was really near and clean, and had a very retro appearance which made it feel lived in. The location is perfect, close to Odawara Station and a convenience store is just around the corner.
