The owner went above and beyond to bring my luggage up to my room and also gave a tour of the whole building. It has all the amenities you ever need like towels, shaver, hairdryer, and many more. The apartment was very spacious and beautifully designed. Our host was fabolous and even opened his bar for us although no other guests were there at that time. He even organised us tickets for a train ride and made a reservation at an izakaya in the neighborhood. Thank you very much for having us!

-convenient location Takaoka Station about 7 mins walk Restaurants about 3 mins walk (options limited though) Supermarket to buy ingredients about 10 mins walk -toilet and bathroom very clean, with a bath tub -kitchen utensils enough for cooking (pot, fry pan, knives, rice cooker, kettle, plates, bowls, cups) ☆my family appreciate this a lot! It didn't provide seasoning or oil though.You can go to the nearby supermarket for shopping. -a washing machine -beautiful old Japanese style house with comfortable tatami. Some comments here said there were dusts, but I found none during my stay. It was very clean.

Akemi was a wonderful hostess. We ate together and had a great time. She cooked us a delicious meal with local products, sake and a huge breakfast, it felt just like home. The house is very beautiful and peaceful. We'll be sure to come back !

The host was the nicest person I have met on our trip yet. Yoko was enthusiastic about hosting and she showed us how to use everything. There were even small labels to tell us what everything was. We left early in the morning but still received breakfast to eat on our travels. The beds were nice.
