We loved our stay here - the views from the property were amazing and the rooms were comfortable and homely. The staff were excellent and went above and beyond to make it a pleasant stay. The dinner we had here was one of the best sri lankan meals of our trip. We would recommend this stay to anyone :)

We came as strangers and left as friends! Saman and his wife Madushi and his brother Shan together with their mum are incredible hosts! They are so friendly and helpful and gave us many tips for the area. The guesthouse was exactly what we were looking for. A beautiful view from the cozy and bright room. Food was always very delicious. The area is very calm, you can see sunrise and sunset from the tea plantation just 5 minutes from the guesthouse. We've planned to stay two nights but because it was so nice there we changed our plans and stayed longer. We also visited the local Sunday market to buy fresh vegetables and made a fabulous cooking course and learned how to cook traditional currys. We highly recommend to go there and experience unforgettable days in the middle of tea plantations. Thank you Saman, Shan and Family for the last days - We enjoyed every moment at your wonderful place. We will come back one day :-)

We had a wonderful stay here, the staff were incredibly friendly and happy to help - letting us check in early and leave our bags in a safe place so we could continue exploring. It's located right on the 12th stage of the Pekoe Trail, so we did that and explored some other trails locally too. The breakfast was tasty too, with stunning views!

I had the pleasure of staying at this eco-lounge camp in Haputale, and though I wasn’t able to stay at the actual campsite, the host went above and beyond to ensure I had a fantastic experience. Right away, he proposed a cozy room alternative with the most breathtaking view – a truly beautiful spot to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings. The host’s kindness and attention to detail made my stay incredibly comfortable. He arranged all my tuk-tuk rides, making it easy to explore Haputale without any hassle. Very nice place to stay in Haputale. The view from the balcony in our room was astonishing and the owners were super friendly and helpful. It is roughly a 10-15 minutes walk to the very centre of Haputale, but we preferred this slightly less busy place higher up the road. The price was also very good, so definitely recommended (we stayed for 3 nights).

I've been to White Monkey 8 years ago and I am here again! Breathtaking views, peaceful and quiet location and almost no tourists around! You will definitely fall in love with this place and plan to come back! The family is helpful and friendly, the dogs are super cute. Another plus is hot water in the shower. We also enjoyed the tradition of gathering at the same table with other guests for dinner. Eating delicious homemade food and sharing experiences. P.S. Highly recommend taking a bus to the factory and then walking the remaining 7 km to the Lipton's seat on foot.
