Great Host, Good price. Pretty close to Diyaluma Falls.

We, my girlfriend and I, have experienced our stay as a wonderful journey. When we arrived, we were faced with a closed gate, but within seconds the owner arrived. After checking in, we entered the room – perfect! A nice big bed, a clean and spacious bathroom, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and everything you could need! After having a little chat, the hotel owner asked about our plans. We mentioned that we came for the nature and tranquility, and without hesitation, he offered to show us around the area. This was the start of an experience we will never forget. 🙏 First, we went to a small waterfall, very local with no tourists – just some local youngsters hanging out who even offered us a beer. Then he took us to Diyaluma Falls – what a massive waterfall that was! He offered us lunch, which he had made himself! A sandwich we’ll never forget; it was incredibly delicious. Next, we visited Buduruwagala Rock Carvings, where the owner introduced us to Buddhism. The place was surrounded by nature – trees, plants, birds – pure enjoyment. We thought we were heading back to the hotel, but nothing could be further from the truth. We visited real monks, where we received blessings and a white bracelet from an elderly monk. They also offered us boiled corn – so tasty! After the visit, we continued back to the hotel. On the way, we ran into a friend of the owner, who invited us to their home. When we arrived, the whole family was there to meet us. What kind and friendly people! They offered us tea and chocolate biscuits, and my girlfriend even received a gift! It gave us such a happy feeling, something we will cherish forever. ❤️ Then it was time to head back to the hotel – or so we thought. Instead, we went elephant spotting! Yes, you read that right – real wild elephants! It got quite late, but we spotted several wild animals, including both a male and female elephant. This, too, will stay with us forever.

This place is amazing, we loved everything! The view is spectacular, the rooms are clean and the bathroom is incredible. they have been all very nice and ready to make our stay perfect. I would love to come back!

I rented the entire villa, a charming place surrounded by nature, a true oasis of peace where serenity filled the air. It was the perfect break before continuing my journey to Ella. The atmosphere was incredibly relaxing, and every detail was meticulously taken care of, offering an ideal balance between unspoiled nature and proximity to the town center. The stay was rejuvenating and flawless in every aspect. The owner, always kind and helpful, provided invaluable advice, from organizing excursions to the waterfalls and the temple to arranging taxis for other destinations.

Bindu, his family, and his friends are very hospitable people. When we arrived we went to Buduruwagala. After we came back to Bindu's place we had one of the best rice n curry during our time in Sri Lanka. And in the morning we for sure had the best breakfast in our 3 week journey. Thanks a lot again #Bindu's wife :). At this day we did a trip to explore the near by waterfalls. It was super good to be guided by Bindu's friend Nuwan who grew up in this area and knows all the short cuts in the region. He is a fun guy and we had a nice time. Regards to Nuwan. Perfect place to stay and enjoy with the family. Spotted Surrounding lovely mountains. It's a brand new hotel. I recommend this place strongly to all who wish to have a break in and around Wellawaya.

Friendly and welcoming, good location

Breakfast homemade and delicious. Very kind hosts. Nice room worth the money and very calm and relaxing surroundings. Good infrastructure.

The host was an amicable person, always with a smile. He provided us with a sumptuous dinner which was home cooked. The location is right close to the main road. Natural surroundings.
