What a fantastic accommodation. The owners are super friendly and extremely helpful at all times! They gave us great recommendations on how to access the lake. Modern, bright rooms with a wonderful view of the garden. Bikes are free to use. The breakfast is delicious. Would come back here!

An incredibly charming family welcomed us, and we immediately took them to heart... and I believe they did the same with us. Even though we speak only a few words of Spanish and they don't speak English, we got along well. Whenever we needed help or had questions, they were immediately ready and incredibly hospitable. Here, you live together and get to see what the "local life" is like. There's a communal kitchen for guests, a rooftop terrace for relaxing, and even a water refill station. The rooms are simple and functional. Another plus is that in the morning, you can hear a wonderful concert of birds upon waking up; the jungle is right next door. Simply marvelous, we felt very comfortable here and would come back anytime.

Clean and comfortable room, amazing staff. Unfortunately I found the place only at my last night in Bacalar (moved from another place) I had an early bus to take, couldn't make it for breakfast so Rackel offered they would leave me a lunch box in the morning. Can't tell you how nice it is leaving early with a bag of a nice prepared sandwich and fruits for the way with my name on it ❤️

What I like most about Casa Momo is the fact that it is a family business. Claudia and her mom, Claudia, were very kind and generous. Communication was great from day 1 and they provided very good tips in Bacalar. The place was nice and clean and had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The bed is very comfortable, and the AC in the room makes a significant difference at night. I would recommend it 100%.

The apartment was very well furnished, clean and very big. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, it was almost like two apartments in one. The beds were king size with very comfortable mattresses. I can only recommend staying there.

Our Stay in Hakuna Matata Cabañas was great! It is a pleasure to be one of the first to write a review for this wonderful place. This accomodation is brand new! It is very cosy and designed with love. The location of the cabañas is just perfect! Everything you need is in close walking distance: Lagoon: 6 min walking City Center with restaurants: 3 min walking Supermarket: right across the road ATM: 3 min walking Laundry: 5 min walking Due to its great location in Bacalar's center, you can stay out late without feeling uncomfortable walking home at night. The cabañas are small, but very cozy. If you need a lot of space, they might not be something for you. But for a couple on the road, they have just the perfect size to take some rest after exploring the town. The mattress is very comfortable! Toilets and bathroom facilities in general were very clean and are cleaned on a daily basis. Thank you, Rahel (one of the owners), for the great help getting around Bacalar and sharing Tipps with us. Hopefully we are going to see each other soon!
