The place is perfectly located in a quiet and calm countryside. The garden is a lovely place to sit or to have breakfast in, with cherry trees and so many beautiful plants around. The owner is super sweet and gave so many tips for sightseeing. The breakfast each morning is the highlight and I always looked forward to it. The portion was huge enough to keep me full till evening. Honestly, there couldn't be a better place to stay, when in Netherlands. The place gets a strong recommendation from my side. Would love to come back.

My recent stay at De Kamer was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, it was evident that Ilse and Jan had poured their hearts into creating a welcoming and enchanting haven for their guests. It was clear that Ilse and Jan had thought of every little touch to ensure a truly memorable experience. Their warm and genuine hospitality was what truly made the stay exceptional. Isle and Jan greeted us with smiles that made us feel instantly at home. They took the time to get to know us, offering valuable insights into the local area and suggesting hidden gems to explore. The tranquil ambiance of De Kamer combined with the heartfelt hospitality of Ilse and Jan, created an unforgettable experience that exceeded all expectations. Absolutely awesome. Great layout, 2 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms. Much bigger than expected. 5 minutes walk to beautiful dunes. 5 minutes walk to shopping centre. 5-10 minutes drive to unbelievable beaches, Texel transport, fortress and lighthouse, navy museum Den Helder, 1h to Amsterdam. Very quiet place, surprisingly. ! Excelent beds. Another name for relax:)
