Everything was lovely and the views from the unit were amazing. Our bedroom was great with a comfortable king bed and great shower/bathroom. Everything was very clean and the hosts were very friendly without being intrusive. We were the only guest so had the common area to ourselves as well and enjoyed the excellent included continental breakfast. Highly recommend The Salty Bushman for your stay in The Catlins.

Was certainly on the level of a home away from home. Walked in and instantly breathed a sigh of relief at being there. The kitchen was wonderfully fitted out, the addition of staple food items was great - if we’d decided to cook, or had been there longer.

Jill and her team are wonderful hosts.Very welcoming and care so well for the needs of their guests If you value a spacious, comfy and nicely decorated room in a historical building with quite a story and also like recommendations about what to see in the area- this is the perfect place. We would definetetly come back as we felt well from the first contact.It is also the perfect location for the last stay out of the Catlins moving North or the first going South Thank you so much, Jill, hope to come by again

Wow.. I liked everything about it. I was made to feel very welcome and was impressed with the attention to detail. From free drinks in the fridge and home made bread for breakfast to the luxury bath robes and towels. The room was beautiful and the bed so good I slept in! I am only sorry I couldn't stay a little longer.
