Loved the peace and quiet of this little cottage in the country. The bed was incredibly comfortable and I really loved sitting either in the sitting room or out on the verandah just reading and listening to the sounds of the animals and insects. Jane and Doug were very welcoming and I loved chatting with them. The cottage is 5 minutes from the beach, which is beautiful to walk along. I will definitely be back again.

We were all blown away when we reached the property. The house is filled with charm, history, and as my niece said this feels like a real family home. It had everything you need as far as amenities and was so peaceful. Absolutely amazing waking to the sounds of Tui’s. This was the perfect place to stay and only wished we had time to stay longer. Will definitely return. Thank you for sharing your wonderful property.

The apartment was roomy and bright, with absolutely everything we needed for a comfy stay. We picked up takeout next door (amazing fish and chips) and some groceries to make ourselves breakfast in the morning.

The property was clean and spacious. The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms are very clean. Heating was adequate as we arrived at the start of winter. It's easy to retrieve the keys to open the gate and door of the property. Do note that you'll need to climb the stairs entrance is on the second floor.

We had a wonderful experience staying at Gavin’s place. He provided comprehensive and useful information, and he was incredibly patient with all our questions. The decor was charming and everything was spotless. We truly enjoyed our time there. The coffee machine had a slight issue and didn’t function properly, though we appreciated the variety of capsules he prepared for us. Overall, it was a beautiful stay, and we look forward to returning!
