The room was very clean and the views from it were very nice! Additionally, you can have a hot shower, which is something not guaranteed in these remote villages of Ifugao. And the best part is the staff, I got the chance to talk with both the mother and some of her daughters and they were all very friendly and knowledgeable. Oh, and the homemade meals they prepare are delicious, don't miss them!! I would definitely go there again if I ever come back to Batad.

Beatriz and her staff were so very helpful! They helped me figure out which were the best options as I only had 3 days in Banaue and really wanted to hike. She also helped me with my many logistics issues (no cash because of no atm, regrouping with friends arriving on different days and times... ) The homestay is cute and cozy, it is very easy to feel at home here.

Please ask for vincent as your tour guide. He is a legend. Rita's mountain view is taken care of by a wonderful family who make the stay magical. It's a must. Anyone able bodied can 100% stay here. And enjoy the fresh made pizzas and french fries!!

This homestay is one of the best we encountered in the Philippines! The room was big and very clean, as well as the bathroom. The toiletries and toilet paper provided were also a good surprise. The staff is so so nice! They make you feel at home and they really go the extra mile to help you when needed (they went to the bus station to book our bus tickets while we were away on a tour). The accommodation is a bit far from the city Center, but they have a restaurant so we didn’t find the location to be an inconvenient. The restaurant serves a good variety of good food in (very) large portions, for reasonable prices. Additionally, one major advantage is that you can take your breakfast/lunch while looking over the Banaue rice terraces, and that was really priceless ! We also booked a tour with their guide, David, and I absolutely recommend it! We had a blast, David was very nice and knowledgeable about the rice terraces. The tour was very affordable (although I don’t know the prices of other local guides). He even drove us to the bus terminal with all our luggage on the day we left for Manila.

Lhoren and her family are welcoming and helpful. Lhoren is amazing, she can satisfy any need you may have. We extended our stay because we felt like home. The place is located in a beautiful village with stunning views and amazing people. You can book transport or tours with her and she also provides good food, the breakfast is delicious. Be prepared for some stairs to get there but the effort is more than worth it. You can also do nice treks and visit an impressive waterfall. Lhorens also taught us how to pound rice and it was a good an experience that made us aware how much effort it takes to cultivate and obtain some rice. The whole stay was simply perfect!!! Would highly recommend it

The hotel staff was very enthusiastic in telling us stories about the Philippines and the rice terraces from the past to the present, which raised my resolution about the Philippines and its World Heritage sites, and I had a wonderful few days. Tani is the most awesome person I met in the Philippines. He’s a tour guide by heart and was so helpful! The tour we did was great and Tani took care of everything needed. The rooms are comfy and clean and you can have a cold or hot shower in clean bathrooms!
