This place is a piece of paradise. The tranquility of the vineyards is amazing. The place even has a small pool to refresh in the summer. We enjoyed just sitting on our balcony looking at the vineyards. The dinner experience with wine tasting is also great, we’ve learned so much and tasted some great wines from the grapes grown in the vineyards. Absolutely recommended!

I have no complaints about this place - wonderful location with a beautiful view from the balcony. Very comfortable, and very clean. The staff were so helpful and even gave us his number in case we needed any help with anything. Would 10/10 recommend.

    This is a beautiful villa with lovely decorations. The bed was comfortable. The continental breakfast offered so many options. We loved sitting by the pool and appreciated the drinks in the refrigerator. The tile in the bathrooms are so classic and colorful. The whole home is very lovely. We wished we could have stayed longer.

    The location of Casa dos Avos is perfect, in a cute village just outside Regua. The apartment itself is an example for a great renovation - there is a feel of the old house - very thick stonewalls and amazing veranda, yet everything else is brand new. The attention to detail is remarkable - everything is provided including a mini size Sensodyne toothpaste. Breakfast was abundant and was delivered in a picnic basket.

    Cannot praise enough Feel Discovery Homes in Douro. Located at the heart of Peso da Régua village, the flat is incredibly charming, impeccably decorated and with all the amenities and welcome items, such as coffee, biscuits, candies and bottle of mineral water. Plus the e-guide provided for visiting the local wineries was very helpful. An unforgettable stay!!!

    Warm welcome, friendly hosts. Old world charm on a working winery. Good food, lovely breakfasts. River view from room, lean out to watch the boats pass on the river below (other side of the quiet road). Watch the trains rattle past on the far side of the river. Convenient location to experience the Douro valley, and hills and villages either side.
