The location was actually amazing - we had a great view on Madeira landscapes. The rooms were clean and comfy, while the kitchen was well-endowed. The host was very kind and helpful, could provide us with informations about the island.

Wonderfully thoughtful host who even got her Mum to buy us some extra complimentary food as we were arriving very late. Lovely space, warm, cozy and stylishly furnished and decorated. Very comfortable bed and lounge. Nice spot to sit outside in the sun on the back terrace. Well equipped kitchen with cooktop, toaster and electric kettle with variety of teas, coffee machine and pods.

The location was perfect for us as we wanted something in the North. It could be a bit closer to the center for us it was perfect, with a little supermarket up the road (2 min walking). The host is amazing, so nice, everything was perfect in place, clean and they offered some welcome cookies. The house is really comfortable and well prepared, specially for the 2 kids we had with us.

The location. It's 25 mins by foot from the Miradouro do Guindaste viewpoint. I met there one of the most beautiful sunrises. I liked the gesture of leaving vegetables for guests. Also, I could use washing machine. The yard, the territory around the house and the view from the room are beautiful. The house itself is very nice, I would appreciate it a lot if I stay with a group or for few days, but I simply needed to have a place to stay for a night, so it didn't matter to me. The owner responds super fast. Checkin was super easy, I could arrive at any time.

We were warmly welcomed by our hosts and greatly appreciated their kindness through our stay. Whenever we needed something they helped us! The place is nested in the mountains and the views are beautiful ! Weather was bad for us but we can imagine how nice it feels on sunny days !

Our family had a wonderful stay at Casa de Campo do Arco de São Jorge, and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect retreat. The cottage was exceptionally comfortable and well-equipped; it truly felt like a home away from home, and we never found ourselves lacking anything during our stay. The weather in February was cool, so we made full use of the cozy fireplace, which not only kept us warm but also added a lovely atmosphere to the house. It was a great way to unwind after a day of exploring. The surroundings were absolutely stunning—lush, vibrant greenery stretched out in every direction, and the clouds, hovering at the top of the mountain behind the house, created a dramatic and picturesque view. It felt like we were tucked away in a serene, peaceful haven. We were pleased to find that the cottage was well-maintained, and halfway through our stay, it was cleaned and the bed linens and towels were replaced, ensuring everything remained fresh and comfortable. The location was ideal, with a local bar and restaurant less than 100 meters from the house, providing convenient dining options. Additionally, the supermarket in Santana was just a 10-minute drive away, making it easy to stock up on supplies. The cottage was also a fantastic base for exploring the island, with its location providing easy access to a variety of attractions and natural beauty spots. Overall, Casa de Campo do Arco de São Jorge was an excellent choice for our family getaway, offering both comfort and a perfect starting point for island exploration.

Breakfast area outside in an incredibly beautiful hortenisa garden. Flowers overload, just stunning. Very quiet, good kitchen, lots of food for breakfast provided for free, including the most incredible sweetpotatoe bread baked in the bakery of the Quinta furao hotel in Santana. What a service! We loved everything. Owner showed up a few times to ask if everything OK or anything needed. Also provided useful information on hikes etc. Great feeling in the place. Would definitely come back.

    Very comfortable bed and friendly host. Basic but fresh breakfast. location is comfortable to visit the village (literally 2 min walk from the centre with market, Casa typica etc). On request we got extra pillows. there is space to hand washing and drying your clothes. We could easily park on the street in the front of the house. Good warm and cold showers. Nice space with small table what made remote work possible. Very hygienic and clean. Easy check in.

    The accommodation was fantastic. A very pleasant and relaxing location in a small village by the ocean. Essentially, the entire house was fully equipped for us. The owners were absolutely great, and we thank them for all the gifts. Nearby, there was a beautiful viewpoint overlooking the cliffs and a superb restaurant. A very refreshing stay.

    The hosts are warm hearted people, they gave me fruits from the farm & local cake for free. The apartment is located at a quite village, it is big & well equipped, for example washing/ dry machine, hair dryer, baked oven, iron etc. I don’t have a car, but I went running/ trekking every day. There are many nice trails. 2 supermarkets just need few minutes walk. The price is totally reasonable. Highly recommended.
