Everything was really nice. From the beginning, we were feeling at home. The room itself was big and comfortable. Besides that, the food of the restaurant was extraordinary (especially the lobster and octopus). Also the owners made our stay wonderful because of their service.

We chose this chalet as it has an interesting jungle location, very good grades and a suitable price in the Takamaka area. Adam and Merlin (owners of several chalets in the complex) were friendly and open to advice and to help us (we were welcomed with juice and a huge plate of fruit, one day we were booked into a restaurant, we were also helped to get out of the jungle when we went on a trekking trail to Capuchins beach and got lost). On site, there is a swimming pool with clean and warm water which was very nice to swim in with a baby. We were also offered lovely complementary breakfasts for 15 euros (free for children under 12). We stayed at this hotel on Christmas Day, and were given a (free) Christmas dinner and gifts (this is something of a wow - how can this be). We felt like we were visiting our best friends who appreciated us very much. The great atmosphere from the owners and staff is unbeatable. We stay in an average of 50 different hotels a year (both private villas, houses and 4*-5* hotels) and in most hotels the owners or staff treat guests like water, not doing anything out of the hotels bounds, with strained smiles and standard requests (this is normal). We felt like long awaited and valued guests at this hotel. Fully recommended, a magical experience and unbeatable value for money where quality is so much more.

Lovely place. Lovely host. Lovely environment. Good value for money. It couldn’t have been better! You are 2 minutes walk from what felt like the best beach on the entire island. Dominique runs the cafe below and really looked after us well. We felt like family!

The hotel manager Lilanda collected us from and dropped us to the airport when we arrived and left. He offered us a car as reasonable rate so we could drive around the island during our stay. The room is comfortable and quiet. The kitchen is operational so we could prepare some food ourselves.

Simply amazing....very nice apartment,comfortable,spacious with a wonderful pool surrounded by forest,at night the feeling is magic.But most important the owner and the staff are very friendly and helpful...they also arranged transport from the port and later to the airport with one wonderful driver....the apartment is must visit for someone who wants to relax.

The building is very modern. The room was large and clean, with a great bed and a great AC (which is, as you can imagine, extremely important in Seychelles). 5 minutes walk from one of the best beaches in Mahe (Anse Royale)! There are a few supermarkets nearby, a pharmacy, a fish store, and two fast food spots. The kitchen in the apartment had everything we need to cook in terms of appliances, but we did have to buy oil, salt, pepper, etc. A wonderful place to stay at *if* you're looking at explore the island(s), experience local life, visit attractions, cook your own food, etc. A car is a must! The hostess graciously booked one for us which we picked up from the airport (15 minute drive from the hotel) for €50 a day, a reasonable price for Seychelles. Highly recommended!

First and foremost, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality upon arrival. The check-in process was smooth, and I truly appreciated the attention to detail as we were shown to our room. Speaking of the room, it exceeded all expectations. The decor was tasteful, the cleanliness was impeccable. It was evident that great care had been taken to ensure a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Marlene and David and their family are such incredible hosts! We even received fresh tropical fruits upon arrival which was awesome, but also the days after. We were invited to traditional Creole Seychelles's diner at their house. And the garden...amaizing with two friendly turtules. We had the pleasure of staying at Garden Hut. I reccomend to everyone :)

    The Villas are amazing, with huge glass walls but very private, surrounded by nature, with beach access, pool, outdoor bathtub walled with bamboo, and kitchen. There’s also a balcony, perfect for outdoor breakfast or coffee. Manuela was the perfect host, welcoming, understanding, kind and generous. Without a doubt the villa and Manuela’s excellent hospitality were one of the highlights of the trip

    This was our second stay at Captain's Villa, this time as a group of 4 in one of the self-catering apartments. Everything was lovely and clean, the beds comfortable and we enjoyed the privacy of the apartment. The manager Christine was so kind, personable and helpful. The restaurant is not open every evening but on one of the evenings we had a great fish supper there. Captain's Villa is an excellent place to stay and is really good value. The beach opposite was great for swimming and snorkelling whilst we were there. Highly recommend!

    We really enjoyed our stay at the villa. Everyone was super nice, especially Chris who really took an interest to make us feel welcome and gave some tips on what to do, she helped us rent a car and also with transfers, she was lovely. Breakfast was good, with fresh fruits, bread, butter, jam, eggs and cheese. Usually they serve dinner, we ate dinner our first night and we enjoyed that as well. The location is quite nice, the beach is really beautiful, even though it's not that popular.

    The swimming pool, beach, the sunset on the beach. Garden, quiet, private, relaxing. Outdoor shower in the villa (but needs more lights). Water refill station in the reception.

    What an amazing place to spend the last two nights before going home. We loved to tranquility of this remote little paradise. The beach is beautiful, the villa spacious, and the people are very friendly. Would always come back!

    Paradise. The Villa is awesome, clean, bright, in the middle of an amazing green garden with stunning flowers. Great location, 5 minutes walking distance to the best beach ever. Christine has been so helpful, cleaver and smiling all the time. When they get fresh fish directly from the beach, Christine prepare unforgettable dinners for her guests. I left a piece of my heart there.
